── the event calendar
When Wembley fills up
Wembley Stadium, autumn 2026. England play Czechia on Tuesday 6 October (7:45pm) and Croatia on Thursday 12 November (7:45pm), and the NFL is back on Sunday 18 October, when the Jacksonville Jaguars host the Houston Texans (2:30pm). Chiltern Railways changes its timetable on event days (some evening trains are cancelled), so check its Wembley events page before you travel.
Summer 2027. Noah Kahan plays three nights, Friday 23 to Sunday 25 July, and Harry Styles plays Wednesday 25, Friday 27 and Saturday 28 August. With three nights in a row, rooms by the stadium go early for every one of them. The cup finals and the rest of the 2027 calendar are announced through the season, so check the Wembley Stadium events page for your dates.
OVO Arena Wembley. The arena next door runs shows most weeks: in the autumn of 2026 that includes Macklemore on 30 October, Gladiators Live on 7 and 8 November and Omah Lay on 12 November, the same night as England v Croatia. See the arena's events page.
── event-day logistics
Getting there and getting away
Three stations, three directions. Wembley Park (Metropolitan and Jubilee lines) is the Tube station for central London: Baker Street is 13 to 15 minutes away on the Metropolitan line and Bond Street 17 to 18, changing to the Jubilee at Finchley Road. Wembley Stadium station has Chiltern Railways trains to Marylebone in under 10 minutes, and contactless and Oyster work on them. Wembley Central, on the Bakerloo line and London Overground, is step-free from street to platform but not from platform to train.
After the event, walk if you can. Chiltern sets up five colour-coded queues outside Wembley Stadium station by destination after events (blue is for Marylebone). A hotel in the 3-to-11-minute ring lets you walk straight past the queues. The event-day taxi rank is on Engineers Way, next to the arena.
Don't count on street parking. On event days the streets around the stadium are reserved for residents (for England v Spain on Saturday 26 September 2026, Brent's restrictions run from 8am to midnight), and the stadium asks drivers to use its official car parks, booked through Wembley Official Parking, and to avoid pop-up car parks. If you're driving, a hotel with its own car park (the Novotel, the Premier Inn London Wembley Park or the Wembley International) is the simplest answer, and non-compliant cars pay London's £12.50 daily ULEZ charge.

Where to eat and drink near the stadium
Boxpark Wembley on Olympic Way is the default: street-food stalls and bars a minute from the Novotel, open 11am to 11pm Monday to Saturday and until 10pm on Sunday. Happy hour doesn't run on arena dates or during televised England games, and it sometimes closes for private or ticketed events, so check before you go. It rates 4.4 on Google from 6,898 reviews.
The pubs. The White Horse on Wembley Park Boulevard (4.4 on Google, 1,355 reviews) is a 3-minute walk from the stadium, and The Torch on Bridge Road (4.1, 2,165 reviews) is 3 minutes from Wembley Park station, handy if you're meeting people off the Tube. The Green Man and The Arch, both above, both pitch themselves at event-day crowds.
Sit-down food. The London Designer Outlet, 2 minutes from the stadium, has sit-down restaurants including a wagamama (4.1 on Google from 1,520 reviews), the easiest place to feed a family before a concert. Eat early on an event day.
── staying central instead
Sleep in town and ride out
If Wembley is one night of a longer trip, stay in the centre and take the train out. The Metropolitan line runs from Baker Street to Wembley Park in 13 to 15 minutes, and Chiltern runs from Marylebone to Wembley Stadium station in under 10, so the Baker Street and Marylebone end of town is the natural base. Holmes Hotel is a 2-minute walk from Baker Street station, and the Landmark is a minute from Marylebone station: both are in the Marylebone and Fitzrovia hotels guide.
The trade-off is the return trip: after a stadium event you'll queue for the train with everyone else. The upside is price. On the same Tuesday, the cheapest Marylebone hotel room was about £155, twice the Wembley Premier Inns; on an event night the Novotel's £379 is more than twice that figure, so the centre can come out cheaper.
── the quick answer
Which Wembley hotel, by traveller
You want the shortest walk for the least money: the Premier Inn London Wembley Stadium, 3 minutes from the stadium.
You want a proper hotel with a pool and a view: the Hilton London Wembley, if you can stay two nights.
You want the Tube on the doorstep too: the Novotel on Olympic Way.
You're driving: the Premier Inn London Wembley Park (guest car park), the Wembley International (free resident spaces) or the Novotel (£25 a day). Arrive early.
You're a group on a budget: the Wembley International's triples or the MSM Arena's quadruple rooms.
It's one night of a longer London trip: Baker Street or Marylebone, and the train out.
── the honest trade-offs
What you give up at each
By the stadium: you pay the biggest event-night mark-ups (the Novotel more than triples, ARK goes above £1,000), and St George's reviews are the weakest of the ring.
Wembley Park station side: a few more minutes' walk, and two of the three are budget independents with rough recent reviews. Wembley Park Hotel wouldn't sell single nights.
Pubs with rooms: noise, stairs and no breakfast, in exchange for being in the middle of the pre-match atmosphere.
Wembley Central and beyond: the cheapest rooms, and an 18-to-24-minute walk back through the crowd. The MSM Arena's midnight curfew rules it out for a late show unless you walk fast.
Not here: the Holiday Inn London Wembley on Empire Way and the ibis London Wembley on South Way are both by the stadium, but IHG says the Holiday Inn remains closed for guest stays, and the ibis showed no availability for 8 to 12 November 2026 on Accor's site (Google lists it as temporarily closed). Clay Wembley is a rental building, not a hotel, and CityLiveIn on Lakeside Way is student housing let only in the summer.
── before you book
Prices, dates and the rest of the trip
Every rate here is for one room, two adults, on Tuesday 10 November 2026 and Thursday 12 November 2026, as shown on 25 September 2026 on the hotel's own booking engine (or, for the two pubs, OYO, which their sites use for bookings, and for the Hilton, Booking.com). They include 20% VAT, and London has no tourist tax yet. Event-night prices rise as the date gets closer, so treat them as a floor.
London's other expensive windows are the school summer holidays, Wimbledon fortnight and the run-up to Christmas. For what a London trip costs beyond the hotel, see the London trip-cost guide, and the where to stay in London guide compares every central area.
