Hotels near Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and the Emirates where to stay for the football
The short answer differs by club. For Arsenal, you can walk: four places around Finsbury Park are 13 to 16 minutes from the Emirates, and my pick is the Maldron Hotel Finsbury Park, a modern hotel across the road from Finsbury Park station. For Spurs, the honest answer is that no hotel is within a 25-minute walk of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The nearest is the Premier Inn London Tottenham Hale, 29 minutes on foot, so for many visitors the better plan is a hotel in King's Cross, Finsbury Park or Liverpool Street and the train out. For the rest of London, see where to stay in London.
The page has two halves. First the Tottenham side (N17 and Edmonton), then the Emirates side (Finsbury Park, Seven Sisters Road, Manor House and Archway). Walking minutes come from Google's walking route between hotel and stadium, and train minutes from TfL's Journey Planner, both looked up on 25 September 2026. Each hotel has two prices: a normal Tuesday (20 October 2026) and a real match night, either Spurs v Coventry City (Monday 19 October, 8pm kick-off) or Arsenal v Lille in the Champions League (Tuesday 13 October, 8pm).
A warning on price. The Arsenal night pushed the cheapest room on the Emirates side up by anything from a fifth to more than double, three places were down to their last room less than three weeks ahead, and one wouldn't take a check-in at all. The Monday Spurs game barely moved most prices, but the closest hotel and the Edmonton Travelodge ran out of standard rooms. A weekend fixture, the North London derby or a stadium concert may be tighter still, so check your own date. Prices include 20% VAT, London has no tourist tax yet, and all were checked on 25 September 2026: use them to compare hotels, not as quotes.
1
Premier Inn London Tottenham Hale
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium: the nearest beds are half an hour away. N17 has no hotel beside its stadium, so the choice is between a 30-minute walk, a short train ride, or sleeping in town. Premier Inn London Tottenham Hale is the closest real hotel, on Station Road next to Tottenham Hale station: 29 minutes' walk to the stadium on Google's route, 4 to the station, and 20 minutes door to door to King's Cross on the Victoria line (the Greater Anglia train to Liverpool Street takes 14 to 15). On a normal Tuesday a standard double was £122 non-refundable or £162 flexible, room only.
On the Spurs v Coventry night the standard rooms had gone and there was one Premier Plus room left at £187, so book as soon as the fixture date is fixed. There's no car park (Hale Village car park is 8 minutes away at £10 a day), and the club's premium shuttle from Tottenham Hale no longer runs on matchdays, so it's the walk up the High Road with everyone else. The Kitchen restaurant is on site for dinner after the game.

Price: from about £122 a night, Standard double, non-refundable, room only (Tue 20 Oct 2026), checked 25 Sep 2026; £162 flexible; £187 non-refundable for the only room left, a Premier Plus, on the Spurs v Coventry night (Mon 19 Oct 2026)
Access: Accessible rooms bookable; ask about the lift when you book.
Tip
No car park: Hale Village car park is an 8-minute walk at £10 a day, first come, first served. Premier Plus rooms add a coffee machine and a mini-fridge.

2
The Fountain Hotel
The Fountain Hotel is a pub with more than 35 rooms on West Green Road in South Tottenham, 8 minutes from Seven Sisters station (Victoria line and Overground) and 37 minutes' walk from the stadium. The kitchen is Mexican and Japanese, rooms have a fridge and a kettle, and there are triple and quad rooms for groups (£116.10 and £143.10 on the normal Tuesday). A double was £98.10 on the normal Tuesday and exactly the same on the Spurs night, the steadiest price on the Tottenham side.
It rates 3.7 on Google from 405 reviews, and the complaints are specific: rooms that get very hot with only a skylight and a fan, and one guest's room that was damp and smelt of smoke. It also hosts events and weddings, so expect noise. Breakfast is a free light one (cereal, juice, tea and coffee). Book it for the price and the location, and pack earplugs.

Access: No accessibility information published; call ahead.
Tip
Check-in 2pm to 11pm, check-out 11am. Breakfast is a free light one (cereal, juice, tea and coffee). Triple and quad rooms suit a group, but they sold first.
Affordable, good location - does the job, but do not stay when in a heatwave. from a visitor review
3
Premier Inn London Edmonton
Premier Inn London Edmonton is north-east of the stadium on Advent Way, beside the A406 and an industrial estate, 32 minutes' walk from the ground and 6 from Meridian Water station. It's the Tottenham-side pick for drivers: guest parking is £15 a night, and on a normal day the stadium is 23 minutes away by bus. Family rooms have a king bed plus a sofa bed or a pull-out, with free cots, and the Thyme restaurant is on site.
It held its price for the Monday Spurs game (£107 against £106 on the Tuesday), which made it the best-value big-brand room near N17 that night. The trade-off is the setting: it's a business-park hotel, not a neighbourhood one, and one recent guest complained about noise from a nightclub next door. Remember that the roads around the stadium close two hours before kick-off, so leave the car at the hotel.

Access: Accessible rooms bookable; ask about the lift when you book.
Tip
Guest parking is £15 a night (entrance via Harbet Road). Family rooms have a king bed plus a sofa bed or pull-out bed, and travel cots are free. Meridian Water station is a 6-minute walk.

4
Travelodge London Edmonton
Travelodge London Edmonton is by Edmonton Green station and its shopping centre, 33 minutes' walk from the stadium, or 4 minutes on the Overground (Weaver line) to White Hart Lane, the station the club says is 5 minutes from the ground. It was the cheapest room on the Tottenham side on the normal Tuesday: £75.99 non-refundable, £85.99 flexible.
On the Spurs night the standard rooms were sold out and the cheapest left was a Standard Room Plus at £137.99, an 82% jump. There's no bar or restaurant (breakfast is a £6.95 bag from reception), and a reviewer this summer noted there's no air conditioning. The best feature is parking: St George's council car park is free for guests from 6pm to 8am once reception validates the ticket.

Access: Accessible rooms may be above the ground floor; two lifts are nearby.
Tip
Park in St George's car park and validate the ticket at reception: it's free for guests from 6pm to 8am. There's no bar or restaurant, only a £6.95 breakfast bag and 24-hour snacks at reception. Check-in 3pm, check-out noon.
I stayed at the Travelodge in Edmonton during Europe leg of the BTS Arirang tour for 2 nights due to it's proximity to the Tottenham stadium, which I feel is it's main USP. from a visitor review
5
Maldron Hotel Finsbury Park
Emirates Stadium: Finsbury Park and around, 13 to 36 minutes' walk. The Emirates has the opposite problem to Spurs: plenty of places to stay within walking distance, but mostly small and budget. The cluster around Finsbury Park station is the one I'd use, and it works for Spurs too, since the Victoria line reaches Seven Sisters in 4 minutes. Maldron Hotel Finsbury Park is my pick: a modern hotel on Seven Sisters Road across from the station, 16 minutes' walk from the Emirates and 11 minutes door to door to King's Cross, with a gym, a bar and restaurant serving dinner until 9:30pm, and rooms with a double and a single (or two doubles) for friends sharing.
It's also the priciest here on a normal night (£183.60 prepay with a book-direct discount that ends 30 September, or £216 flexible, room only), and on the Arsenal v Lille night its own booking engine wouldn't take a check-in on the 13th at all; two nights from the 12th cost £437.18. A Spurs Monday was cheaper than the Tuesday (£145.35). There's no parking, and one recent guest in a basement room heard the trains all night, so ask for a room on an upper floor.

Access: Fully accessible doubles with adapted bathrooms, close to the lift.
Tip

6
Travelodge London Finsbury Park
Travelodge London Finsbury Park on Isledon Road is the budget chain option: 15 minutes' walk to the Emirates, 4 to Finsbury Park station, and it markets itself on the walk to Arsenal. On the normal Tuesday a standard room was £117.99 non-refundable or £135.99 flexible, and on the Arsenal v Lille night £169.99, a 44% rise, with single nights still on sale. On the Spurs Monday it was £98.99.
The Bar Café does breakfast, dinner from 5 to 10pm and drinks at any hour, useful after a late kick-off. Several recent reviews complain about cleaning (one found a stained towel), and one guest this month was turned away at 11pm despite a paid booking, so keep your confirmation handy. The only parking it names, Fonthill car park, closes at 6:30pm, so it's no good for an evening game.

Argyle Apart Hotel
Argyle Apart Hotel is a small block of one-bedroom serviced apartments on Seven Sisters Road at the Holloway end, 13 minutes' walk from the Emirates on Google's route and 10 from Finsbury Park station. Each apartment has a fitted kitchen, air conditioning and underfloor heating, which makes it useful for a two-night trip. Booking.com had an Executive Apartment at £146 non-refundable on the normal Tuesday (the hotel sells by email and phone, not online).
On the Arsenal v Lille night the same apartment was £306, more than double, with one left. The Executive apartments are small (about 15 square metres), there's no lift listed, stag and hen parties are refused, and one recent guest checked out within the hour over a ground-floor room by reception. Parking is on the street or in two nearby car parks at £20 to £25 for 24 hours.

The Finsbury Guesthouse
The Finsbury Guesthouse on Blackstock Road is a small guesthouse between Finsbury Park station and Arsenal station, 16 minutes' walk from the Emirates. Its Google reviews are warm about the host, several mention the Emirates by name, and there's a shared kitchen, a garden and luggage storage. It sells through Booking.com, where a double was £179 with free cancellation on the normal Tuesday.
On the Arsenal v Lille night only a Superior Double was left, at £215. That makes it expensive for a guesthouse, and one review from the summer reports bed bugs, so read the latest reviews before you pay. There's no lift or accessible room listed, so call ahead if stairs are a problem.

Best Western London Highbury
Best Western London Highbury faces Finsbury Park on Seven Sisters Road, 24 minutes' walk from the Emirates, 5 from Manor House station and 8 from Finsbury Park. It's a conventional mid-range hotel with a bar, a lift, a buffet breakfast (£12 on the room-only rate), family rooms and its own car park, which is rare this close to either stadium. On a normal Tuesday a standard double was £122 on Booking.com, and £122 on the Spurs Monday too.
The Arsenal night told a different story: £257 for the last room, more than double. A guest who stayed for the football earlier this year found the road-facing rooms loud at night, so ask for the back. On the Spurs side it's usable too: on a normal day the 259 bus from outside runs to the stadium in about half an hour, though buses are diverted on matchdays.

Travelodge London Manor House
Travelodge London Manor House is a minute from Manor House station on the Piccadilly line, which runs straight to Arsenal station in 4 minutes, and 28 minutes' walk from the Emirates. It had the cheapest room on the Emirates side on both nights: £83.99 non-refundable on the normal Tuesday and £144.99 on the Arsenal night, a 73% rise. On the Spurs Monday it dropped to £68.99. Recent reviews praise the staff and a renovated bathroom, and the Bar Café serves dinner until 10pm.
After the match, expect a managed queue for Arsenal station outside on Gillespie Road. The nearest car park it names closes at 6:30pm, and the hotel page gives no accessibility details.

Premier Inn London Archway
Premier Inn London Archway is the one to book if you want a big, reliable hotel with parking: 2 minutes from Archway station (Northern line, 14 minutes door to door to King's Cross), 36 minutes' walk from the Emirates or about 25 minutes on the 43 bus to Holloway Road on a normal day. It rates 4.3 on Google from 1,785 reviews, more reviews than any other hotel here, and has a Thyme restaurant, family rooms and £15-a-night parking.
The trade-offs are distance and the Arsenal-night price: £228 against £144 on a normal Tuesday, with six rooms left. And Holloway Road station, the nearest to the stadium on this side, is exit-only before matches and closed for up to two hours after, so plan on the bus or a long walk home.

── the fixture calendar
When north London fills up
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, autumn 2026. Spurs are at home to Coventry City on Monday 19 October (8pm), Crystal Palace on Saturday 31 October (5:30pm), Ipswich Town on Saturday 21 November (3pm), Fulham on Wednesday 2 December (8pm) and Arsenal on Saturday 5 December (3pm). The stadium also hosts two NFL games, Colts v Commanders on Sunday 4 October and Eagles v Jaguars on Sunday 11 October (both 2:30pm), and Karol G plays on Tuesday 6 July 2027. See the stadium's events page.
Emirates Stadium, autumn 2026. Arsenal play Leeds United on Saturday 10 October (12:30pm), Lille in the Champions League on Tuesday 13 October (8pm) and Everton on Saturday 24 October (3pm). In November they're at home to Hull City (Saturday 7th), Borussia Dortmund (Tuesday 24th, 8pm) and Manchester City (Sunday 29th). Kick-off times move for television, so check the Arsenal fixture list and the Spurs fixture list before you book a non-refundable room.
── match-day logistics
Getting there and getting away
Spurs: use White Hart Lane or Northumberland Park. The club puts White Hart Lane (Overground from Liverpool Street) about 5 minutes from the stadium, Northumberland Park (Greater Anglia trains from Liverpool Street) about 10, Tottenham Hale (Victoria line) about 25 and Seven Sisters about 30. Before midweek games, Victoria line trains may not stop at Seven Sisters, in which case you get off at Tottenham Hale and walk. If you want the Overground, the club advises boarding at Liverpool Street rather than changing at Seven Sisters. After the match there are queuing systems at all four stations.
Spurs: don't drive. The club says there's no public parking in or around the stadium, the area becomes an event-day controlled parking zone, and tow trucks operate. The High Road and side streets close to traffic from two hours before kick-off to an hour after, and buses are diverted. Free pre-booked shuttle buses run from Alexandra Palace and Wood Green stations, from three hours before to two hours after the game.
Arsenal: Finsbury Park or Highbury & Islington. Arsenal station (Piccadilly line) is about three minutes from the ground but has no step-free access, and after the match its queue runs outside on Gillespie Road. Arsenal's travel page says Finsbury Park and Highbury & Islington are both about 10 minutes' walk from the ground, less crowded and wheelchair accessible. Holloway Road station is exit-only before matches and closed for up to two hours after, and Drayton Park is closed on matchdays. Arsenal also strongly advises against driving: only residents' permit holders can park on the street and other cars are towed. Arrive at least an hour before kick-off for the bag searches, and check TfL on the day for closures.
── staying central instead
Sleep in King's Cross or Liverpool Street and ride out
For a one-match trip that's also a London holiday, the better base is often in town. King's Cross St Pancras is 6 minutes from Arsenal station on the Piccadilly line and 5 from Finsbury Park on the Victoria line, and 9 minutes from Seven Sisters and 11 from Tottenham Hale for Spurs. See the King's Cross and St Pancras hotels guide.
For Spurs, Liverpool Street is the station to be near: the Overground (Weaver line) runs to White Hart Lane in 22 minutes, and Greater Anglia trains run to Northumberland Park. Hotels around Liverpool Street are in the Shoreditch hotels guide and the City of London hotels guide. You'll queue for the train home with everyone else, but you'll wake up in the centre.
Islington proper (Highbury Corner, Upper Street and Angel) has more hotels and more to do in the evening than Finsbury Park, at a longer walk from the Emirates.
── the quick answer
Which hotel, by traveller
Arsenal, and you want to walk: the Maldron Hotel Finsbury Park, or the Travelodge London Finsbury Park for less money.
Arsenal, on a budget: the Travelodge London Manor House, two stops from Arsenal on the Piccadilly line.
Spurs, and you want to walk: the Premier Inn London Tottenham Hale, 29 minutes up the High Road.
Spurs, driving: the Premier Inn London Edmonton (£15 parking) or the Travelodge London Edmonton (free overnight parking once validated).
A group on a budget: the Fountain's triples and quads, or the Argyle's apartments with kitchens.
Both clubs in one trip: Finsbury Park. It's a walk to the Emirates and 4 minutes on the Victoria line to Seven Sisters.
One match in a longer London trip: King's Cross or Liverpool Street, and the train out.
── the honest trade-offs
What you give up on each side
Tottenham side: nothing is closer than a half-hour walk, the nearest hotel and the Edmonton Travelodge ran out of standard rooms for a Monday-night league game, and the budget options are a pub and a Travelodge with no bar.
Emirates side: the walk is short, but most places are small or budget, three had one room left less than three weeks before a Champions League night, and Seven Sisters Road is busy and noisy.
Not here: Northumberland Park House, which Google Maps lists 13 minutes from the Spurs stadium, is emergency accommodation for councils and charities, not a hotel. The Highbury Centre in Highbury stopped taking bookings on 1 September 2026 and closes on 30 October 2026. The Finsbury Park Hotel on Wilberforce Road has no working website of its own and was sold out on the Arsenal night. Trinity House in Walthamstow is a well-reviewed small hotel with free parking, but it's an hour's walk from the stadium and its reception closes at 10pm, awkward after an 8pm kick-off.
── before you book
Prices, dates and the rest of the trip
Every rate here is for one room, two adults, on Tuesday 20 October 2026 and on the match night named, as shown on 25 September 2026 on the hotel's own booking engine (or on Booking.com for the Argyle, the Finsbury Guesthouse and the Best Western, as labelled). They include 20% VAT, and London has no tourist tax yet. Match-night prices rise as the day gets closer and when a kick-off moves to a weekend, so treat them as a floor.

── frequently asked
Frequently asked questions.
What is the closest hotel to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium?+−
Premier Inn London Tottenham Hale, about 29 minutes' walk on Google's route, or 25 minutes on the bus and train on a normal day. The Premier Inn London Edmonton (32 minutes' walk) and the Travelodge London Edmonton (33) are the next nearest. There's no hotel within a 25-minute walk of the stadium: Northumberland Park House, which Google Maps lists closer, is an emergency hostel for councils and charities, not a hotel.
Which hotels are closest to the Emirates Stadium?+−
Four sit 13 to 16 minutes' walk away on Google's route: the Argyle Apart Hotel on Seven Sisters Road (13 minutes), the Travelodge London Finsbury Park on Isledon Road (15), and the Maldron Hotel Finsbury Park and the Finsbury Guesthouse (16 each). All four are also within a 10-minute walk of Finsbury Park station.
How much are hotels near the Emirates or Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on a match night?+−
An Arsenal Champions League night pushed rooms near the Emirates up by a fifth to more than double; a Monday Spurs game barely moved prices, but the nearest rooms sold out. For Arsenal v Lille on Tuesday 13 October 2026, the Travelodge London Finsbury Park was £169.99 against £117.99 a week later, the Best Western London Highbury £257 against £122, and the Argyle Apart Hotel £306 against £146 (both on Booking.com); the Maldron wouldn't take a check-in that night at all. For Spurs v Coventry on Monday 19 October, most prices hardly moved, but the Tottenham Hale Premier Inn only had a £187 Premier Plus room left and the Travelodge in Edmonton had sold its standard rooms. Prices were checked on 25 September 2026.
Is it better to stay in King's Cross for a Spurs or Arsenal match?+−
For Arsenal, often yes: the Piccadilly line runs from King's Cross St Pancras to Arsenal station in 6 minutes. For Spurs, it works but takes longer: the Victoria line gets you to Seven Sisters in 9 minutes and Tottenham Hale in 11, then it's a 25- to 30-minute walk, and the Overground from Liverpool Street to White Hart Lane (5 minutes from the stadium) takes 22 minutes. After the match you'll queue at the station either way.
Can you park at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium or the Emirates?+−
No. Spurs say there is no public parking in or around the stadium and tow trucks operate, and Arsenal strongly advises fans not to drive because of the event-day parking scheme, which lets only residents' permit holders park on the street. If you're driving, book a hotel with its own parking: the Premier Inn London Edmonton (£15 a night), the Premier Inn London Archway (£15 a night, first come, first served) or the Travelodge London Edmonton, whose nearby council car park is free for guests from 6pm to 8am.
