Hotels Near The O2 & Greenwich: Where to Stay for a Show (2026)
Fourteen hotels for a show at The O2, ranked by how you get to the arena and home again: the one joined to it by a walkway, a pub with rooms, two chain hotels a bus stop away, and Greenwich town ten minutes down the river, with Monday, Tuesday and concert-Saturday prices.

Hotels near The O2 and Greenwich where to stay for a show, and how to get back afterwards
Only one hotel is genuinely next to The O2: the InterContinental, which has its own walkway into the venue and is about 2 minutes' walk from it. After that come the handful of beds on the Greenwich Peninsula: The Pilot pub at 11 minutes, the Holiday Inn Express and the Radisson RED at around 20. The alternative is Greenwich town, the old riverside centre round the Cutty Sark: 50 minutes on foot, but a short bus or boat ride. I'd stay in Greenwich for a weekend with a show in it, and on the peninsula when the show is the whole trip and you want to walk home. If you're choosing between areas of London rather than a bed for a gig, start with where to stay in London.
The hotels are grouped by how you'd get to the arena: next door, a bus stop away on the peninsula, then Greenwich town by the Cutty Sark and Greenwich station, then Blackheath up the hill. Every hotel carries Google's walking time to The O2 and to North Greenwich station, the Jubilee line stop for the arena, plus the bus or boat that does the job. From North Greenwich the Jubilee line is 9 minutes to London Bridge, so the hotels around London Bridge are a real alternative if you want central London as well. Canary Wharf, across the river, and the ExCeL hotels at the cable car's northern end are a separate choice.
About prices, because The O2 shapes them. The arena has a show most nights, and the peninsula hotels price to the calendar. Each hotel below shows the cheapest room for Tuesday 10 November 2026 (an arena night itself: Pokémon Night Out, a smaller show) and for Saturday 14 November, the second of Noah Kahan's three nights (13, 14 and 17 November), plus the Monday before, when the arena is dark, where it tells the story. From that quiet Monday to the Saturday most hotels here roughly double, on the peninsula and in Greenwich alike; Greenwich simply starts lower, and the Clarendon and the Angerstein barely move. Rates were checked on 25 September 2026 on the hotel's own site, or on Booking.com where labelled; they include VAT, London has no tourist tax yet, and they're for comparing hotels, not quotes.
1
InterContinental London - The O2
Next door: under 15 minutes on foot.InterContinental London - The O2 is the only bed with a door into the venue. It's a riverside tower of 493 rooms, suites and apartments on the peninsula, joined to The O2 by a private walkway, so Google's walk to the venue is about 2 minutes and North Greenwich station is 5. It has a spa with a 17-metre pool, three restaurants and two bars, so dinner before doors never means leaving the building. On Booking.com it was about £331 for the Tuesday (a smaller arena night), £352 for the Noah Kahan Saturday and £295 for the Monday with nothing on.
The trade-off is that you're paying for the walkway. The West End is about 25 minutes away by Tube, and the peninsula goes quiet once the arena empties. Book it the week the tickets go on sale; as one Google reviewer put it after a concert, "it was great to not have to worry about getting back to our accommodation after the show".

Access: Google lists a wheelchair-accessible entrance; North Greenwich station has step-free access per The O2.
Tip
The private walkway into The O2 is the whole point: no queue for the Tube afterwards. Ask for a river-facing room for the Canary Wharf view. The spa's 17-metre pool is the reason to book two nights.

2
The Pilot, Greenwich
The Pilot is the other hotel in easy walking distance, and the one with character: a Fuller's pub on River Way with 10 individually designed bedrooms above it, 11 minutes' walk from The O2 and 10 from North Greenwich station. It's a traditional pub now surrounded by the peninsula's new towers, with a proper pub kitchen and free parking for guests. The rooms run from a nautical Captain's Cabin (a single-occupancy room with a porthole window) to Standard and Superior Doubles, and the direct rates include a full English.
It's also the clearest example of what a show does to prices here. The Standard Double was £178.20 with breakfast for the Monday, £314.10 for the Tuesday arena night, and for the Noah Kahan Saturday the only double left was the Superior Deluxe, at £350.10. The pub itself says its rooms go well in advance on show nights. It's a pub, so expect noise until closing; one Google reviewer found it "a bit noisy until 11/midnight but to be expected and no problem if you bring ear plugs". Check-in closes at 9:30pm, so don't arrive after the show.

Tip
Ten rooms and the pub says they go well in advance on show nights, so book the day the gig goes on sale. Free parking and a full English with the B&B rates. The Captain's Cabin is a cosy single-occupancy room, not a double.

Holiday Inn Express London - Greenwich
A bus stop away: the south of the peninsula. Twenty minutes' walk south of the arena, where the peninsula meets the Blackwall Tunnel approach, two chain hotels do the job on a budget. Holiday Inn Express London - Greenwich on Bugsby's Way is the value pick of the pair: 19 minutes on foot to The O2, 18 to North Greenwich, or about 5 minutes on the 422 bus from outside. Hot breakfast is included, there's a bar serving pizza and pasta in the evening, and it has its own car park. On Booking.com it was about £140 for the Tuesday and £109 for the Monday.
On the Noah Kahan Saturday it was £280, double the Tuesday, and that's the pattern on any big night. The walk is along main roads by the Blackwall Tunnel approach, busy with gig crowds after a show but not pretty. Reviews are mostly warm about staff and breakfast, though one 2026 Google review reports bed bugs. For a cheap, clean bed within walking distance of the arena and breakfast in the price, it's the one I'd book.

Tip
Hot breakfast is included, which evens out the price against Greenwich town. The 422 bus from outside reaches North Greenwich in about 5 minutes; walking takes 19. There's an on-site car park.
Literally 15 minutes walk from the O2 arena and cost 1/3 of the nearest hotels in the area, including a full breakfast! from a visitor review

Radisson RED London Greenwich The O2
Radisson RED London Greenwich The O2 is the livelier neighbour on Tunnel Avenue, with a bar and restaurant downstairs, 20 minutes' walk to The O2 and 19 to North Greenwich, or about 5 minutes on the 188 bus. Rooms have air conditioning and walk-in showers. On Booking.com it was about £151 for the Tuesday and £123 for the Monday; breakfast, where not in the rate, is £18.95.
The location is the catch, and guests say so: Tunnel Avenue is a road of warehouses and yards, and one Google reviewer summed it up as "a little odd as it is in the industrial estate but it is perfect if you plan on visiting the 02". The Noah Kahan Saturday was £265. Check-in doesn't start until 4pm. Choose it over the Holiday Inn Express if you'd rather have a livelier bar than a free breakfast.

5
The Angerstein Hotel
The Angerstein Hotel is the cheap bed with a proper local pub underneath: a Victorian pub hotel from 1888 on Woolwich Road in East Greenwich, with darts and sport on the screens. It's 35 minutes' walk from The O2, but the 129 bus takes about 9 minutes and Westcombe Park station, two minutes away, has trains to London Bridge. On Booking.com the cheapest room on the Tuesday was about £116 (a twin with a shared bathroom), a Double Room £142, and the Saturday started from £141.75, one of the smallest show-night rises here.
Read the room names carefully: many rooms share toilets and showers, which is the complaint that comes up most in reviews. There's no lift, guests say there's no breakfast (a café a few minutes down the road does one), and a £50 deposit is taken on arrival. It suits two friends on a gig budget; it doesn't suit anyone who wants an en-suite without checking.

ibis London Greenwich
Greenwich town: a bus or a boat to the arena. Greenwich town centre, the old riverside village round the Cutty Sark, the market and the park, is about 50 minutes' walk from The O2, which nobody does after a show. The 188 and 129 buses run between the two in 11 to 25 minutes, and the Uber Boat takes 9 minutes from Greenwich Pier to North Greenwich Pier. It's where I'd stay for a weekend: the morning after, you're in Greenwich Park and the market rather than on a peninsula. ibis London Greenwich is the best-placed of the budget hotels, on Stockwell Street five minutes from Cutty Sark DLR and eight from Greenwich Pier. On Booking.com it was about £110 for the Tuesday, £71.28 for the Monday and £165.44 for the Saturday.
It's a standard ibis, with a lift, a lobby bar with a pool table, and 6 accessible rooms, and it doesn't take cash. The complaint to know about is heat: one recent reviewer found the room too hot to cool on a summer day. Parking is £25 a day on site. For the show, the 188 from the National Maritime Museum stop gets you to North Greenwich in about 14 minutes.

The Admiral Hardy
The Admiral Hardy puts you in the middle of Greenwich: en-suite rooms above a naval-themed pub on College Approach, right on the edge of Greenwich Market, two minutes from Cutty Sark DLR and three from Greenwich Pier for the boat to the arena. The Superior and Deluxe Kings look over the market; the Classics have city views. A Classic Double was £162 room only for the Tuesday on its own booking engine.
On the Noah Kahan Saturday it was already full in September, so book early for weekends. Check-in is at the bar, the pub below is busy with market crowds by day, and dogs are welcome at £10 a night. The rooms are above the pub, so call ahead (020 8293 9535) if stairs are a problem. For a couple who want Greenwich as much as the gig, it's my pick in town.

Novotel London Greenwich
Novotel London Greenwich is the dependable family hotel, a minute from Greenwich station (trains to London Bridge in 10 minutes) and the DLR. It has 151 rooms, 34 of them family rooms and 8 connecting, a restaurant and bar, a gym and a sauna, and 32 parking spaces at £25 a day. On Booking.com it was about £132 for the Tuesday, £98 for the Monday and £171 for the Saturday.
To the arena it's the 129 bus from outside the station, about 21 minutes on board, or 11 minutes' walk to the Cutty Sark and the 188. Breakfast is extra. Most reviews are warm about staff and location; the recurring niggles are rooms that need some maintenance and a sofa bed that wasn't made up for a family of four, so confirm it at check-in.

Travelodge London Greenwich High Road
Travelodge London Greenwich High Road is the cheapest proper bed in Greenwich: £79.99 for the Tuesday, non-refundable, and £110.99 for the Noah Kahan Saturday on Travelodge's own site. It's two minutes from Greenwich station and the DLR, with a Bar Café for breakfast and an evening meal. The 129 from Greenwich station reaches North Greenwich in about 21 minutes.
There's no air conditioning, only a desk fan, and several recent reviewers mention it; outside summer it matters less. One recent reviewer's room faced a noisy bar across the road. There's no car park, but Burney Street car park is a few minutes away and free after 6:30pm. The other Greenwich Travelodge, on Blackheath Road by Deptford Bridge DLR, was £73.99 for the Tuesday and £104.99 for the Saturday, but it's further from everything and one reviewer couldn't sleep for sirens and traffic, so I'd pay the difference for this one.

Staycity Aparthotels, London, Greenwich High Road
Staycity Aparthotels, London, Greenwich High Road is the group and longer-stay option: studios and one-bedroom apartments with full kitchens and air conditioning, 6 minutes' walk from Greenwich station. It's the highest-rated place here on Google (4.7 from 2,706 reviews). A studio for two was £184 on both the Tuesday and the Noah Kahan Saturday on its own site, and Booking.com had it at £112.50 for the quiet Monday, so it's best value on the biggest nights.
Check-in is online only and must be done before you arrive, and there's no daily housekeeping. Parking is £13 a night in a shared car park and must be booked ahead. For the arena it's a walk to the 129 at Ashburnham Grove, about half an hour door to door. Four friends splitting a one-bedroom apartment will do better here than in two hotel rooms. Its sister by Deptford Bridge DLR is adding hotel rooms from October 2026.

Premier Inn London Greenwich
Premier Inn London Greenwich is the safe budget choice at the Deptford end of Greenwich High Road: air conditioning, the Thyme restaurant, a build-your-own breakfast where up to two children eat free with a paying adult, and 7 minutes' walk to Greenwich station. A Standard room was £103 non-refundable for the Tuesday and £130 for the Noah Kahan Saturday on Premier Inn's own site.
It's a 17-minute walk to the Cutty Sark and about half an hour door to door to the arena by the 129, so it's a Greenwich base rather than an O2 one. Parking is £12 a night in a shared car park, first come first served. Recent reviews are consistently good on cleanliness and staff. Pay £19 more for a Premier Plus room if you want a fridge for the post-gig drinks.

DoubleTree by Hilton London Greenwich
DoubleTree by Hilton London Greenwich is the most hotel-like option in town: a modern block on Catherine Grove, 10 minutes' walk from Greenwich station and 300 yards from Deptford Bridge DLR, with a restaurant, a bar, a gym and paid parking. One Booking.com guest singles out the skyline view from a top-floor room. On Booking.com it was about £137.65 for the Tuesday, £96.05 for the Monday and £170.04 for the Saturday, with breakfast £19 extra.
It's the furthest of the Greenwich hotels from the river, 20 minutes' walk from the Cutty Sark, and about half an hour to the arena by the 129. Reviews are strong on staff, weaker on rooms; one Google reviewer found theirs "Dated and in need of some TLC". A £50 deposit is taken on arrival. Ask for a refurbished room on a high floor.

Zedwell Hotel Greenwich
Zedwell Hotel Greenwich is a converted office building by Deptford Creek where every room is a windowless, soundproofed "Cocoon" with filtered air, dimmable lighting and an en-suite shower, and nothing else: no TV, no kettle, no wardrobe. It's 9 minutes' walk from Cutty Sark DLR, and the 188 from Creekside reaches North Greenwich in about 19. On Booking.com it was about £96 for the Tuesday, £72 for the Monday and £147 for the Saturday.
It works for one night of sleep after a gig and not much more. Check-out is 10am, and early check-in, late check-out and luggage storage all cost extra, which is the main complaint in reviews. One Google reviewer's verdict is the honest one: "The windowless room is manageable for a night, but I couldn't see myself lasting longer."

The Clarendon Hotel
Blackheath: one bus to the arena. The Clarendon Hotel is an independent Georgian hotel on Montpelier Row, looking over the heath towards Greenwich Park, and it earns its place because the 108 bus stops opposite and runs straight to North Greenwich in about 18 minutes. A Classic Double or Twin with breakfast was £132.05 for both the Tuesday and the Noah Kahan Saturday on its own site, the same price on a big night as a quiet one. Parking is free, and Blackheath station is a 12-minute train from London Bridge.
It's an old building and it shows. There's one lift, to the second floor only, and 8 stairs to reach the bedrooms on every floor except the ground floor. The car park holds about 50 cars for a hotel of well over 100 rooms, so don't count on a space. Rooms are plain, some run warm in summer, and the breakfast is the part reviewers praise. As one Google reviewer booking for a show put it, they were "told of the 108 bus that ran from right opposite the hotel straight to the O2".

── show nights
What's on at The O2, and what a big show does to prices
The arena is busy most nights. The O2's listings show an arena event almost every night of November 2026, from Stevie Wonder (3 to 5 November) and Noah Kahan (13, 14 and 17 November) to Muse (15 and 16 November) and Mariah Carey (30 November), with indigo at The O2, the smaller venue inside, adding more. Even Tuesday 10 November has a show (Pokémon Night Out). Check The O2's events calendar for your dates before you book.
Prices roughly double, but Greenwich starts lower. From a Monday with no arena show to the Noah Kahan Saturday, the Holiday Inn Express went from £109 to £280 and the Radisson RED from £123 to £265 on Booking.com, and The Pilot from £178.20 to £350.10 on its own site. Greenwich town rose too (the ibis from £71.28 to £165.44, the Novotel from £98 to £171), but in pounds a big night there still costs well under the peninsula. Against their Tuesday rates, the Premier Inn was £27 more on the Saturday and the Travelodge £31 more, and the Clarendon didn't change.
Book early for the two walkable hotels. The InterContinental and The Pilot are the only hotels within a quarter of an hour on foot, and they fill first; The Pilot says its rooms go well in advance for big shows.
── after the show
Getting there, and getting back
The Jubilee line from North Greenwich is how most people come and go. The O2 says central London is 20 minutes away and Stratford 10, with frequent services before and after major events; London Bridge is 9 minutes on the train and Westminster 14. When the arena empties, everyone heads for the same station, so expect crowds at the gates. That's the best argument for a hotel you can walk to, or for one of the options below.
The boat. Uber Boat by Thames Clippers stops at North Greenwich Pier, and on select event nights runs a post-show service back into town: the Express leaves 15 minutes after the show ends and must be pre-booked, followed by Request boats boarding in order of arrival. From Greenwich Pier the RB1 boat to North Greenwich takes 9 minutes before the show.
The bus. The 108, 129, 132, 161, 188, 422 and 486 all stop at North Greenwich station, according to The O2. The 188 runs 24 hours, through Greenwich town and on to central London via Waterloo, which makes it the late-night way back to any Greenwich hotel here. The 108 goes to Blackheath for the Clarendon, the 422 and 188 to the Holiday Inn Express and the Radisson RED.
The cable car. The IFS Cloud Cable Car crosses the river from beside North Greenwich towards the ExCeL side in about ten minutes, and event ticket holders get 50% off walk-up fares on the day. It is a sightseeing ride rather than a way home: it stays open late only on a few named event nights, so check the London Cable Car website before relying on it.
Driving. For arena and indigo at The O2 events, The O2 uses Car Park 1: £35.28 pre-booked through JustPark (£29.39 early bird, up to three weeks before), £40 on the day if there's space, valet £75. The O2 warns that roadworks nearby mean long delays at peak times, particularly after events. The free drop-off and pick-up point is in Car Park 1. Big bags aren't allowed in the arena; bag storage outside is £10 a bag.

You want to walk in and out of the show: the InterContinental, joined to The O2 by a walkway. The Pilot if you'd rather a pub with ten rooms and breakfast included.
Cheapest bed you can walk home to: the Holiday Inn Express, breakfast included, or the Radisson RED next door. The Angerstein if you don't mind sharing a bathroom.
A weekend in Greenwich with a show in it: the Admiral Hardy by the market, or the ibis round the corner for less.
Families: the Novotel by Greenwich station for family and connecting rooms, or a one-bedroom apartment at Staycity.
Tightest budget: the Travelodge on Greenwich High Road at £79.99, or a windowless Zedwell Cocoon for one night.
Driving: The Pilot and the Clarendon include free parking; the Holiday Inn Express has a car park.
── the honest trade-offs
What you give up at each
The peninsula: proximity costs double on a big night, and once the arena empties there's little else around. The two chain hotels sit by the Blackwall Tunnel approach, and the walk is along main roads.
Greenwich town: a lovely place to wake up, but every trip to the arena is a bus or boat ride, and after a show the buses fill with the same crowd as the Tube. The Travelodge has no air conditioning, the Zedwell has no windows, and the Admiral Hardy fills early at weekends.
Blackheath: one direct bus to the arena and a lovely village, but the Clarendon is an old building with one lift that doesn't reach every floor.
Not here: the Mitre by Innkeeper's Collection, a 24-room pub hotel on Greenwich High Road a few minutes from Greenwich station, sells only through its own site; ring it on 020 8293 0037 for November rates. OYO The King William on Trafalgar Road has a 3.5 on Google and an unstaffed reception outside set hours. St Christopher's Inn Greenwich has been dropped from its operator's own list of hostels, so check it's still trading before you book anywhere that lists it.

Prices, dates and the rest of the trip
Every rate here is the cheapest room for two adults for one night, checked on 25 September 2026: Tuesday 10 November, Saturday 14 November (Noah Kahan) and, where it shows the difference, Monday 9 November. Figures come from the hotel's own site, or from Booking.com where labelled on each hotel. They include VAT, London has no tourist tax yet, and they are for comparing hotels, not quotes; prices near the arena move fast once a show is announced.
Walking times are Google's door-to-door estimates from each hotel to The O2 and to North Greenwich station; bus times are Google's transit routing for a Tuesday evening. If you want central London as well as the gig, the Jubilee line puts London Bridge 9 minutes from North Greenwich, and for the wider choice of areas see where to stay in London. ── frequently asked
Frequently asked questions.
What is the closest hotel to The O2?+−
The InterContinental London - The O2 at 1 Waterview Drive. It is joined to The O2 by a private walkway, and Google's walking route from the hotel to the venue is about 2 minutes (5 to North Greenwich station). The next closest is The Pilot, a Fuller's pub on River Way with 10 bedrooms, 11 minutes on foot. The Holiday Inn Express and the Radisson RED on the south side of the peninsula are 19 and 20 minutes' walk, or a few minutes on the 422 or 188 bus.
How do you get back from The O2 after a concert?+−
Most people take the Jubilee line from North Greenwich, which The O2 says runs frequent services before and after major events; London Bridge is 9 minutes away on the train. The station gets very busy when a show lets out, so the alternatives are worth knowing. On select event nights Uber Boat runs a post-show river service whose Express boat leaves 15 minutes after the show ends (pre-book it). The 188 bus runs 24 hours to Greenwich town and on to central London via Waterloo, and the 108 and 129 also leave from North Greenwich. Or stay on the peninsula and walk back.
Is Greenwich a good place to stay for The O2?+−
Yes, if you want a nicer place to wake up than the peninsula and can live with a bus or boat ride. Greenwich town centre, around the Cutty Sark and the market, is about 50 minutes' walk from The O2 but 11 to 25 minutes by the 188 or 129 bus, and the Uber Boat takes 9 minutes from Greenwich Pier to North Greenwich Pier. On a big show night the Greenwich hotels also rise far less than the ones by the arena: for the Noah Kahan Saturday (14 November 2026) the Premier Inn went from £103 to £130 while the Holiday Inn Express on the peninsula doubled from £140 to £280 on Booking.com.
How much are hotels near The O2 on a concert night?+−
Roughly double a quiet night, wherever you stay; Greenwich just starts lower. For Saturday 14 November 2026 (one of Noah Kahan's three nights), checked on 25 September, the Holiday Inn Express was £280 on Booking.com against £109 on a Monday with no arena show, the Radisson RED £265 against £123, and The Pilot had one double room type left at £350.10 with breakfast, against £178.20 on the Monday. The InterContinental was £352. In Greenwich town the ibis went from £71.28 to £165.44 and the Novotel from £98 to £171, still well under the peninsula prices. The Clarendon in Blackheath was the same £132.05 on the Tuesday and the Saturday.
Is there parking at The O2?+−
Yes. For arena and indigo at The O2 events it's Car Park 1, which The O2 asks you to pre-book through JustPark: £35.28 for a car (£29.39 early bird, until three weeks before), or £40 on the day if space is left, and valet is £75 pre-booked. The O2 also warns that roadworks around the venue mean long delays at peak times, particularly after events. Of the hotels here, The Pilot and the Clarendon include free parking, and the Holiday Inn Express has its own car park.
