Right, so London. Everyone bangs on about it being one of the most exciting cities in the world, and honestly? They're not wrong. But the London the guidebooks sell you isn't the London I grew up in. There's so much going on here it'll do your head in: the restaurants, the markets, the little backstreets with more history than most countries, all clamouring for your attention at once.
